Dundas Dynamo Bantam Girls Off to a Strong Start!
The 2017/2018 season has gotten off to a promising start. The Dundas Dynamo U13 Bantam Girls are a class act, warmly welcoming three new players to their midst: Theodora, Jocelyn and Maya.

The girls have welcomed the "newbies" wholeheartedly and seem to be gelling well. GUELPH TOURNAMENT (October 28th) The girls' first test came on Saturday, October 28th at the Guelph Tournament. This friendly competition saw our Bantam Girls beat Brantford CYO 38-15 and edge Burlington Force 40-39 in a hard-fought match up. This celebration of basketball also provided an excellent skills competition in which all of our athletes participated. HILL vs VALLEY (November 14th) Ancaster Magic met Dundas Dynamo in a Hill versus Valley rematch. This year's exhibition opener between the two sides saw Dundas much improved over last year's performance. Although the Hill folk managed to win, 31-26, it was only by a mere 5 points. Watch out Ancaster, the Valley girls aren't finished with you yet! ONTARIO BASKEBALL LEAGUE OPENER (November 19th) Game 1: Sunday at the Hoop Dome saw our U13 Girls face North York Huskies first division squad. Our girls had a very tough assignment against this formidable adversary of fast athletes who executed precision play and a relentless press! Notable was Dynamo's refocus after a shocking two initial periods as they stepped up their game to an even 7-7 in the second quarter. The match ended with a score of North York 51- Dundas 33. Way to show grit girls! Game 2: The girls second game saw the Dynamo dominate the court against Oakville. With heads-up passing plays, quick help defense and a much-improved rebounding game, the Dynamo dominated Oakville 40-13! Congratulations to our awesome athletes and dedicated coaching staff who are definitely off and running!!
