Road Trip!!!
The Major Atom girls took a road trip last weekend to Michigan and South Western Ontario finishing the weekend with a 3-1 record.
The girls headed to Michigan last Saturday to play a few grade 6/7 teams in the Saline Thanksgiving Shootout. After a hard fought battle in game 1 that the girls eventually lost, they bounced back and won the remaining two games of the tournament to finish in the top half of the tournament. After some rest, and much team bonding, they headed back across the boarder to friendly territories and they dropped in to Tecumseh to play and exhibition game on the way home. The Saints from Tecumseh where ready to go and gave our girls all they could handle right from the opening tipoff. The Dynamo girls kept their composure as the game continued and eventually defeated Tecumseh to end their weekend with a 3 win 1 loss record.
All the girls shook off some rust after not playing a game for 3 weeks and they are primed and ready for their scheduled games in Kitchener against Durham and Pelham on December 2nd.
