The Dundas Dynamo Basketball club was founded in 1994-95. It started out as a program looking to help develop and nurture the sport for area boys and girls.
With a house league of 24 boys and girls that first year, a girls rep team was formed that entered a few tournaments and eventually played in the Ontario Provincial Championships.
From those early beginnings the Club now has over 100 boys and girls participating in our Fall House League Programs and 6-8 Competitive rep teams for boys and girls aged 8-19. These rep teams compete at various tournaments across Ontario and the U.S including our Provincial Championships.
The Club has also run a summer basketball camp during the month of August since 2000 to keep area players engaged and interested in the sport during the off-season.
The Dundas Dynamo Basketball Club is a not for profit youth organization run entirely by volunteers.
