#1 Team in Ontario
Submitted By Steve Baker on Tuesday, March 28, 2017
The Atom Girls finished their season as the undisputed Champions of the Province.  With a 4-0 record at the Provincial Championships this past weekend in London, the girls claimed the Gold Medal and kept their perfect season intact.

Overall the girls finished the season with a record of 31-3, as they played a number of grade 6 teams both in Ontario and the U.S.  Their 25-0 record against girls of the same age is impressive but the work ethic during practice and support they showed each other during the season is more impressive.  As the number 1 ranked team in Ontario all season long, they continued to get the best efforts from all their opponents, which meant each and every player needed to bring their best both mentally and physically each and every game.

The girls should also be proud of their efforts off the court this season.  They spent a few hours of their time with the Sisters of St. Joseph's at Christmas. They sang Christmas carols, completed a number of crafts and joined these ladies for some Holiday Cheer.  The girls also collected over 600 food items during Christmas that were donated to the Good Shepherd to help support those in need.

A special group of young girls who always give 100% and deserve all the praise they received this season.

Way to Go LADIES!
Way to Go DYNAMO!

This is just a quick reminder that on Friday November 4th there is a P.A. Day which means the gyms are closed for the day and no programming can occur in the evenings.  Who ever thought a little girl would hate a P.A. Day?
