Dynamo Girls Rochester Champions
The U11 Dynamo Girls travelled to Rochester NY this past weekend to take on our neighbours to the south. The girls enjoyed the ideal schedule of mid day games to help keep them winning on the court and swimming by the pool.
The girls won their first two games on Saturday with a combined 71 points for and 18 against. The challenge on Sunday against two grade 6 teams proved all they could handle. At the end of the first game Sunday, the girls were forced into overtime against the girls from Niagara Falls but the Dynamo girls would stay unbeaten with a 22-21 victory. In the final match of the tournament the Dynamo girls kept their perfect record intact and claimed the Championship trophy with a 28-16 victory. All 11 girls contributed to the success this weekend and the team bonding was as important as the results for this determined group of girls. Well Done Girls!
